Scott Storey, Critical Care Paramedic, currently serves as the Medical Officer for Columbia Fire and Rescue. Scott began his public safety career as a volunteer firefighter for the Giles County Rescue Squad in 1989. He completed EMT training in 1993, Paramedic Training in 1996 and Critical Care Paramedic in 2007. Scott has held numerous positions in EMS in Middle Tennessee throughout his career. He has served as a Field Supervisor, EMS director, Instructor/Coordinator and EMS Training Officer. Scott has also served on the Ambulance committee for the Division of EMS and was the past president of the South Central EMS Director's Association. Scott received his Associates Degree in Communications from Martin Methodist College in Pulaski and his Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration from Middle Tennessee State University.
