3. Gallery Space for Visual Arts
4. Residential Opportunities for Artisans
5. Connection to Downtown
6. Mixed-Use Development

12 Big Recommendations

1. Enhance Garden Street, 8th Street and Highland Avenue.
2. Create four strong gateway entrances into the Arts District.
3. Create a permanent gallery and theater space.
4. Establish an arts festival space.
5. Create a cultural trail that links the downtown square with the Arts District.
6. Implement tactical urbanism projects.
7. A primary Arts District organization is needed.
8. Promotional marketing and education should be coordinated.
9. Grant assistance and incentives should be offered.
10. Expand the footprint of the Arts District.
11. Rezone a portion of the district.
12. Create a distinct planning and development process for the Arts District.
