Calling Professional Artists for New Town Sculpture

The City of Columbia is inviting professional artists to submit their qualifications for the creation of a sculpture to be permanently displayed on an outdoor sculpture box located in Downtown Columbia, Tennessee. The work will be an integral part of Columbia’s increasing prioritization of public art and serve as a catalyst for further development of the arts, culture, and tourism in the City. The public art box base was constructed as part of the West 6th Streetscape project located at the west end of the Streetscape beside City Hall. The creation of a sculpture to be featured for this public art location is the primary objective of the artist call.
