The City of Columbia is partnering with the US Army Corp of Engineers to conduct flood risk analysis for several drainage basins throughout the City of Columbia. Phase I will consist of floodway mapping and base flood elevation (BFE) profiles of the East Fork Greenlick Creek, including the newly named tributaries Forrest Creek, Mayberry Creek, Trotwood Creek, and Bradford Creek, the Littleton Creek basin (which includes Littleton Creek and Auburn Creek), the Cayce Valley basin (which includes Cayce Valley Creek, Whitney Creek, and Jewell Creek), and the Springdale basin (which includes Springdale Creek and Lyon Creek), all of which are currently unstudied.
