Cultural Trail App Historical Marker

Visit Columbia, the City's official destination marketing entity, is pleased to announce the launch of the new Columbia Cultural Trail App. This self-guided tour takes you around Downtown Columbia and through the Columbia Arts District exploring the arts, music, rich culture, and history of this vibrant city. You will find a variety of murals, cultural places of interest, historical markers, live music venues, and more points of interest when you download the free app from Google Play or Apple.

“This new walking trail was designed to enhance the connectivity between the established Downtown District and the Columbia Arts District and to share Columbia’s culturally important and engaging points of interest with visitors as well as locals,” explained Kellye Murphy, Tourism & Marketing Director for Visit Columbia.

The trail is approximately 3.5 miles round trip with an average walking time of 1 hour and 15 minutes. Some might prefer to drive the tour and park at select points of interest for a more in-depth exploration. The design of the app is also user-friendly, fresh, and modern making it easy to use and navigate. As you walk around Downtown Columbia and the Columbia Arts District, you’ll see colorful murals, historical markers, and live music venues. The app allows you to explore and learn about the community, while also allowing you to experience the arts and culture of Columbia hand in hand.

The new Cultural Trail app is available for free download on your smartphone or tablet at or search “Visit Columbia, TN” on your device’s app store and start exploring the arts, music, culture, and history of this vibrant city.
