Our mission is to prepare, prevent, plan, respond, and recover from all hazardous events that could potentially affect the community. To achieve this, we collaborate with other city and county departments, community organizations, businesses, and residents to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, develop emergency preparedness and response plans, and coordinate the city's emergency management efforts.

Times of Crisis

The Emergency Management Division plays a central role in the city's response efforts. We work diligently to communicate with other agencies and organizations, disseminate critical information to the public, and manage the deployment of resources and personnel.
