Youth Basketball League

Welcome to our Youth Basketball League Site!

Registration is now open for our upcoming 2021 season. This season will feature two Co-Ed Leagues ages 7-9 and 10-13 (ages as of 12/04/2021) respectively. Our leagues are designed to educate, encourage, and inspire young athletes. Our goal is for each participant to develop and hone their skills as athletes on and off the court. Registration is $50.00 for each child and can be done online here or by clicking the links on the right.

Player Evaluations will be held on Friday, November 5th for 7-9 year old players and Saturday, November 6th for 10-13 year old players. More information will be communicated after registration concludes.

Weekly Practices will begin the week of November 8th and will be held in evening at the Armory Recreation Center. Team assignments and practices times will be announced after registration and player evaluations. A practice schedule will be made available on this page at that time.

League Play will begin Saturday, December 4th. All games will be held on Saturdays at the Armory Recreation Center. A game schedule will be made available on this page once practices start. League standings will be updated on this page weekly.

League Tournament will held after the conclusion of league play. All teams will participate in a seeded, single-elimination style tournament. The league tournament schedule will be made available at the conclusion of regular league play and be updated weekly.

Any and all cancellations will be announced through this page as well as communicated to coaches and parents. Cancellation decisions may be made at the discretion of the Parks and Recreation Department but if MCPS is cancelled any given day, our league will be cancelled as well. This includes practices, league play, and tournament play.
