ADA Compliance
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires that the City of Columbia communicate effectively and provide services to people who have disabilities. The City of Columbia wants to ensure that people with a disability can communicate with, receive information from, and convey information to all departments within the City.
The City will provide auxiliary aids and services when needed to communicate effectively with people who have communication disabilities. In addition, the City will provide effective communication for companions who have communication disabilities.
If you need assistance in participating in a meeting or event due to a disability as defined under the ADA, please call the City's ADA Coordinator at 931-560-1565 or Email Connie Etzkin at least three business days prior to the scheduled meeting or event to request an accommodation. Walk-in requests for aids and services will be honored to the extent possible.
