Beer Board

The Beer Board is responsible for the review of all establishments selling beer on and/or off premises and for wholesale distributors with in the City of Columbia. Reviews all new beer permit applications as well as review any establishment and/or responsible party that have been brought forth before the board for review of any ordinance violations. Holds authority to award, deny, suspend or revoke any beer permit as outlined in Columbia City Beer Ordinances.

Members

Members serve three (3) year terms and must be at least 21 years of age. The Beer Board is composed of five (5) residents of the City of Columbia appointed by the city mayor and approved by the city council.

Applications and questions regarding permits should be submitted to the City Recorder's Office.
