Hatcher Named March Employee of the MonthThe City of Columbia is pleased to recognize LeAnne Hatcher as the March 2019 Employee of the Month. LeAnne has worked for the Columbia Police Department since 2001. She began her career as a Records Clerk and went on to serve as Administrative Secretary and Records Supervisor before being promoted in 2018 to the position of Crime Analyst.
The Columbia Police Department shares in the excitement of recognizing LeAnne for all the hard work and dedication she shows on a daily basis and throughout her career with the City of Columbia. In her current role as a Crime Analyst in the Criminal Investigations Division, LeAnne has been a pivotal part of the investigations team on several major cases that include robbery and homicide. LeAnne's job covers a range of responsibilities such as intelligence gathering on people and places; crime statistics; research and compiling of data; and the gathering of information which aides in the successful resolution of various criminal incidents. LeAnne, without reluctance, goes above and beyond to help the officers from the Columbia Police Department as well as other law enforcement agencies, and assist the victims that have been effected by these crimes. She is very professional and dedicated to her job with the Columbia Police Department. Her role in our Department is beyond valuable, not just in the positon she holds, but as the outstanding employee she exemplifies.
