To provide support and assistance to both internal and external customers by maintaining a financial reporting system that accurately reflects all operations in a manner consistent with generally accepted accounting principles and state and federal mandates.


The Finance Department exercises general supervision over the fiscal affairs of the City and general accounting supervision over City property and assets.

Functions performed by Finance staff include payroll processing, accounts payable, purchasing, administration of the City’s Purchasing Card program, accounting for fixed assets, City bank account reconciliation and preparation of monthly revenue and expense reports

The Finance Director coordinates the City’s annual audit, serves a primary role in budget preparation and debt issuance and maintains compliance with various local, State and Federal agencies.
