Recycling is about to be more convenient than ever!
EarthSavers, LLC, in cooperation with the City of Columbia, now offers curbside recycling to Columbia residents and businesses. Every customer that signs up by July 15, 2010 will receive a free recycling cart and one free month of service – about a $65 savings!
Curbside recycling will work much like the City’s curbside garbage collection service. Recycling customers will use 96 gallon wheeled, carts to hold their recyclables.
All recyclable items, including paper, cardboard, all plastics, Styrofoam, and cans, may be placed together in one cart. Glass bottles and jars should be placed in a separate bag and placed on top of the other recyclables in the cart.
Then, on your pick up day, simply roll the carts out to the street for EarthSavers to pick up.
Curbside Recycling Service begins August 1, 2010.
